This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Helix Campaigns LLC (“Helix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, stores, uses, discloses, sells, or otherwise processes personal information, including when we: (1) operate our website at www.helixcampaigns.com (our “Website”) and (2) market, sell, and provide our fundraising and campaign services, products, donor databases, and tools (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy addresses specific disclosure requirements from various privacy laws and also serves as our ‘notice at collection.’
This Policy does not apply to personal information that we collect from our employees and contractors. This Policy also does not apply to personal information we handle solely in our capacity as a service provider on behalf of a customer (“Service Provider Information”). We process Service Provider Information in accordance with binding, written agreements with our customers. Service Provider Information is subject to the privacy policies of the customer, and you should read those policies carefully. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of our customers. 1. Personal Information We Collect and Process
We obtain personal information about (a) current and prospective customers, (b) website visitors, and (c) people who make donations. We source this information a few ways, online and offline. For example:
- We obtain personal information about donors (“Donor Information”) from our customers and partners, from public sources, and from data brokers.
- We obtain personal information directly from customers, such as when they provide us billing information, send us an email, or share a business card.
- We automatically process personal information using cookies on our Website.
- We process personal information from social media platforms and through our professional networks; and
- We may create personal information by making inferences from the personal information we collect. For example, we may infer your likelihood to make a donation over email or by phone based on your prior interactions.
The categories of personal information we process includes:
- Identifiers, such as your real name, username, postal address, IP address, email address, cookie ids, or other similar identifiers.
- Demographic information, such as your market area (e.g., Dallas Metropolitan Area), information about your gender, or age range.
- Professional and employment-related information, such as your current employer and job title.
- Education information, such as information about your academic qualifications.
- Commercial information, including information about prior engagements with us or commercial activities we learn about in publications or on social media platforms.
- Financial account information, such as information you provide for billing purposes.
- Preferences, interests, and affiliations, such as those you indicate when interacting with our cookie banner or communicating with us directly. We may also process information about your social interests, political affiliations, civic engagement, and social networks.

Donor Information may include the following categories of personal information: Identifiers, Demographic information, Professional and employment-related information, Preferences, interests, and affiliations, and Digital Interactions and Usage Data. Donor Information we process does not include sensitive personal information such as financial account information or your racial or ethnic background, national origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, status as transgender or nonbinary, status as a victim of crime, or your citizenship or immigration status.
We may aggregate and/or de-identify any information collected through the Services so that such information can no longer be linked to you or your device. We may use aggregate and/or de-identified information for any purpose, including without limitation for research and marketing purposes, and may also disclose such data with any third parties in our discretion. Unless allowed under applicable law, we will maintain such information in an de-identified state and will not re-identify the individual.
2. How We Use Your Information

We do not collect or process sensitive personal information from you.

We sell and share Donor Information as part of our Services. Unless prohibited by law, we transfer personal information to others, with or without consideration, unless you opt-out or otherwise exercise your privacy rights, as described below in the “Your Privacy Rights and Choices” section.
At times, we share or provide others with access to your information with your consent, at your direction, or to complete any transaction or request you have authorized.

Please note that certain information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law. For example, we need to retain certain information in order to provide our Services to you or to comply with law. We also need to take reasonable steps to verify your identity, or your authorized agent’s authority, before responding to a request. Where possible, we will attempt to verify your identity by only using information we have previously collected, such as an e-mail address. We will promptly respond to a verifiable consumer request to exercise your rights , barring any extraordinary circumstances. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and establish an extension period in writing.
We will deliver our written response electronically. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with any portion of your request, if applicable. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

As a result, we cannot guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and security of the personal information we process.

We retain your information only for as long as we determine it is necessary to provide the Services and to fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other necessary purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Our Services and our Website are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
